Do You Know?
My name is Micheal C. Jewel. I was born in Provo Utah in the year 1982 AD, and I can trace the majority of my heritage back to the mormon pioneers. With the exception of my ethnic heritage, I have no affiliation with any known organized religion or theological philosophy. I've spent the majority of my childhood and adult life In the near vicinity of Washington, DC. I'm currently a young engineer who enjoys the pursuits of art, entertainment, and herpetology. I like to dream and draw, and spend too much time obsessing about things beyond my control. Before I die, I would like to better understand the forces that guide the human collective, and find peace in this grand compromise of statistical micro-sciences and hard core moral absolutes, that somehow we accept as reality. I am still a very young man and retain to this day, a great deal of teen angst from my adolescent years. Although I feel I have resolved those issues residing at the core of said angst, I continue to feel frustration in that I'm lacking the means to alter my reality or significantly change the world around me. It is this angst and and frustration that I feel inspires and guides my art. In addition to showing off my artwork I also feel this is an appropriate venue for posting my various miscellaneous, trivial opinions on things. As well as showing off pictures and information from my different herpetological projects and field trips. I hope by examining the random media that I've uploaded here, the average person might gain a better understanding of me.
